Condition

We are proud to present for sale this superb 18ct Gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual no date from the late 1950s. The watch features a champagne coloured sunburst dial encased in an 18ct solid gold case with a smooth bezel. Sitting on a new leather strap, the watch looks beautiful on the wrist. The watch is working perfectly in all operations. 

Dial - The champagne coloured sunburst dial has a fine patina across it which adds to the character provding a changing sheen depending upon how the light catches it; really lovely.

Case - This piece features an 18ct solid gold case which is in fantastic condition and shows minor wear as you would expect of a watch of this age.

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex Calibre 1560 automatic movement which is working perfectly and is keeping fantastic time for a watch of this age. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows some signs of wear from use over its decades of life and it also has an inscription which gives it some unique history.

Bracelet - We have put a new leather strap on the watch which looks perfect.

Crystal - We have fitted a new acrylic crystal.
