Condition

Collectors of Rolex will appreciate the aesthetics of a Rolex that has what is now known commonly as a Buckley Dial which has hour markers as Roman numerals and a distinct minute tracker on the outer edge. This particular example has a white dial in a stainless steel case with a smooth bezel and an acrylic that incorporates a cyclops lens which displays the date.  The Tritium luminous spots are all present and they are set against silver tone hour baton markers. It makes for a busy, but very attractive dial combination. This watch is in absolutely amazing condition for its age and is working perfectly in all its functions, keeping excellent time. 

Dial - Near mint condition, one small black mark more visible under magnification below the centre.

Case - The stainless steel case is in excellent condition showing general wear as you would expect of a watch of this age.

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex Calibre 3035 automatic quickset movement which is flawless in every way. The 3035 was Rolex's first high beat movement and this example is keeping fantastic time.

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows minor signs of wear.

Bracelet - The watch is sitting on its original Oyster bracelet which is in excellent condition and has the usual wear you would associate with a watch of this age.

Crystal - The watch features an acrylic crystal which was standard for Rolexes of this era. The crystal is in fantastic condition showing minor signs of wear.
